About
Fostering Together Gulf Coast is a nonprofit that began in 2019 with the goal of providing support to foster and adoptive families in Mobile and Baldwin counties. We want to promote healthy foster and adoptive families by providing easy access to resources that help build strong, resilient children who thrive within healthy families and break the cycle of abuse, neglect, and trauma. We also want to provide an outlet for our local community to come alongside these children and families in support. We would love to partner with your church or organization to help support children in foster care and the families who have opened their homes to them.
Fostering Together Gulf Coast is led by a board of directors who care deeply about foster care and adoption. Our board is made up of foster and adoptive parents, social workers, and pastoral staff, among others. We understand the joys and challenges of parenting children who have experienced trauma. We are committed to walking alongside these families in order to help lighten their load and build a supportive community around them.
