About
Fostering Together Gulf Coast is a nonprofit that began in 2019 with the goal of providing support to foster and adoptive families in Mobile and Baldwin counties. We promote healthy foster and adoptive families by providing easy access to resources that help build strong, resilient children who thrive within healthy families and break the cycle of abuse, neglect, and trauma. We also provide an outlet for our local community to come alongside these children and families in support. We would love to partner with your church or organization to help support children in foster care and the families who have opened their homes to them.
Fostering Together Gulf Coast is led by a board of directors who care deeply about foster care and adoption. Our board is made up of foster and adoptive parents, social workers, and community members who see the needs and are committed to helping . We understand the joys and challenges of parenting children who have experienced trauma. We are committed to walking alongside these families in order to help lighten their load and build a supportive community around them.

Rachel Webb, Executive Director
Rachel and her husband have been foster parents since 2013 and have adopted three times from foster care. Rachel is TIPS certified to teach the foster parent licensing class and enjoys recruiting and training new foster families. She has also served as the parent co-facilitator for APAC's Adoptive Family Group. Starting FTGC and providing support services to foster and adoptive families has been one of her long-held dreams - now come true! 
Michael Schultz, Board of Directors
Michael is the Director of Training and Development for Rich's Car Wash as well as an ordained community minister and chaplain. He and his wife, Macy, have been licensed foster parents since 2018. They have four beautiful children, all of whom have their own unique stories that brought them into their family! Michael and Macy are very active in the community through Young Life, as well as advocating for foster and adoptive families in a variety of ways. Michael joined the Board of Fostering Together Gulf Coast in 2021 and currently serves as the Board President. 
Michelle Tice, Board of Directors
Michelle is a Financial Representative at Strategic Wealth Specialists. She is mom to 6, two of whom were adopted from Ukraine as teenagers. Michelle understands the challenge of raising children with significant trauma backgrounds and loves to connect with others on the same journey. She also began and runs the Mobile Chapter of the Christian Women's Business Organization. 
Tiffany Bru, Board of Directors
Tiffany is a sales representative for Shrimp and Grits Kids clothing company. She is passionate about volunteering and currently serves as lower school parent council chair for St. Paul’s Episcopal School. Tiffany is excited to join the FTGC team and help make an impact in the lives of foster/adoptive families. |
Kimberly Richardson, Board of Directors
Kimberly is a Certified Health Coach. She helps people lose weight, get off medications, and get to the healthiest version of themselves. She also serves as a Board member for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), which advocates for children in foster care and dependency cases in the courtroom. Kimberly completed the Nonprofit Management Certification Program at the Univ. of South Alabama. She founded the Embrace Ministries' Foster Care Clothing Closet before helping to start Fostering Together Gulf Coast. She and her husband Michael have two precious children. 
Timothy Heath, Board of Directors
Tim is the Managing Director at Strategic Wealth Specialists. He is a community member who saw an opportunity to help with something he is personally passionate about - supporting children in foster care and foster/adoptive families. We're thrilled to have him as part of the Fostering Together Gulf Coast team! 
Lindsey Gurley, Board of Directors
Lindsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice where she provides adoption and counseling services to individuals, families and youth, including those in foster and adoptive families. In her career as a social worker, Lindsey has seen how valuable supportive agencies like Fostering Together Gulf Coast are in helping children thrive in families. |
